Who We Are
Malavika S Nair
Founder
Malavika is an aspring biomedical engineer interested in developing medical devices. After seeing such devices and equipment in hospitals and clinics being thrown away despite their good condition, she resolved to work to ensure no resources were being wasted with her ultimate career goal being to increase affordability to healthcare solutions. ReMediate is her first step towards this mission through reducing the cost of healthcare through the efficient use of resources.
Sudar Elangovan
Co-founder
Sudar is an aspiring physician who grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, a small region in South Texas where the Mexican and U.S borders blend. This small region however repeatedly tops the list of one of the most unhealthiest areas in America time to time again. Growing up surrounded by a marginalized population who don’t have a voice in mainstream healthcare has led her to co- found ReMediate as one of the first steps in many to break the cycle and spread quality healthcare to all populations.
Charlotte Dejecacion
Program Officer
Charlotte is a junior at Frisco High school interested in art and art history. In her spare time, she is in Theatre and volunteers as a part of Nightingale Advocacy and Second Chance SPCA, and hopes to continue making an impact in her community with ReMediate.
